The Sexual Contract is about the evolution of human sexuality over the last one hundred thousand years and how we've arrived at the position we're in today. It also examines modern sexual behavior and how it relates to women.What I liked most about this book was the way the book addressed issues of sexual contract essay topics. I read the chapters out of order, so that the topics would come up in sequence. It was a very intriguing read!The Sexual Contract focuses on the male-female power differential in all aspects of human existence. The feminist character of the book actually works well with this theme, as Pateman tackles several themes related to feminism in this book.I enjoyed the chapter 'The Sexual Contract - Is it a Contract or a Deal?' The book opens with the world's first record ed instance of a sexual contract and explores the basic nature of sexual contract essay topics such as fidelity, dishonesty, and deception. It also covers certain variants such as the Kinsey Scale.My other favorite part of the Sexual Contract is its chapter on sexual prostitution. It explores the intersection of prostitution and feminism, and there's plenty of research and examples to back up its claims. I really liked this part.On a final note, I liked the book overall. I feel like Carole Pateman has written a number of books that explore more, but with this book I felt that she made it to the core of sexual contract essay topics. However, if you want to get a general understanding of topics relating to sexual contract essay topics, then I think you'll like this book.I can't recommend The Sexual Contract highly enough.
